SECURITYMADEIN.LU, in partnership with Casino Luxembourg organized a Hack4Kids event based on drones and programming topics on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th June 2017. Drones’ topic was chosen in order to make a link with the current temporary exhibition “Looking for the Clouds – contemporary photography in times of conflict” (http://www.casino-luxembourg.lu/fr/Expositions/Looking-for-the-Clouds-Contemporary-Photography-in-Times-of-Conflict): it displays work from international photojournalists especially depicting drones’ threatening sides. This Hack4Kids edition, more peaceful, was presented by Matthieu Farcot and Steve Clement from SECURITYMADEIN.LU and gathered 17 children aged from 5 to 13 years old. On the first day, the groups learned how the handle rolling drones through the use of a programming language and managed to do an obstacle course. On the second day, youngsters were introduced to robot programming.
