Hack4Kids translated its workshops in Farsi and Arabic
“Hack4Kids was very efficient: the interaction between the children starts when their interest for the games is stronger than the languages’ barrier” Cassie Adelaïde from Passerell
“We were glad to welcome this creative event at the Foyer Diddelfamill in Dudelange. We are looking forward to collaborate further with SECURITYMADEIN.LU” Loris Spina from Foyer Diddelfamill
SECURITYMADEIN.LU, in partnership with the Office luxembourgeois de l'accueil et de l'intégration, the Commune de Dudelange, the Croix-Rouge, the association Passerell and the SCRIPT (BEE CREATIVE), organized a Hack4Kids event at the Foyer Diddelfamill in Dudelange on Sunday 24th July 2016. This Hack4Kids gathered around thirty children aged from 6 to 12 years old. They were introduced to the IT world through many playful workshops. It was the first time that Hack4Kids created educational material in 5 languages including English, German, French, Arabic and even Farsi. This event was a test driver created around 5 different workshops: coding activities (Human Robotron; Drone Race, Pseudo-Code Dance), and activities dealing with artistic elements linked to information technologies (Post-it Art and Light Painting).
