Hack4Kids raised awareness about information security in a German highschool

The twelfth Hack4Kids was organized in association with Realschule Plus and Fachoberschule Konz and took place on Monday 11th July and Tuesday 12th July 2016.

This edition gathered about 20 teenagers aged from 15 years old to 17 years old.

  • Coding with Scratch : development of a game based on "Space Invader" topic.

  • The network game: taught students some basis in network engineering and helped them understand how the TCP/IP protocol works.

  • Drone race: the teenagers learned how to manipulate drones with a dedicate programming language.

  • An introduction to "hacking culture": students learned how to find information on Google.

  • Open a luggage lock with a 3D printer: students had to unlock Tsa certified luggage lock.
