Hack4Kids special edition dedicated to GIMP and Scratch

The sixth Hack4kids took place on Saturday 5th September 2015 in association with the BBQ Game Jam event organized in Esch-Belval. This edition gathered about 20 children aged from 7 to 12 years old. The event was made of 2 sessions: at first, children were introduced to the GIMP edition software. Then, each of them learned how to use in a creative manner the programming language Scratch developed by the MIT. Education professionals and IT security experts (CIRCL, Code Club Luxembourg) were present to help the children. At the end of the event; the organizers gifted kids with a 3D key.
